Chicken Pie With Cream Cheese

This rich and flavorful Chicken Pie will expand your menu and creativity for the holidays or even a family dinner
Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 2 cups of milk

  • 1 cup of oil

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 100 grams of parmesan cheese

  • Salt to taste

Filling

  • 800 grams of cooked and shredded chicken breast

  • 1 can of green peas

  • 1 can of whole corn

  • 1 can of tomato sauce

  • 1 chopped onion

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Olive oil to taste

  • 1 /2 cup of cream cheese

  • 200 ml of heavy cream

Dough

  • Blend 2 cups of milk, 1 cup of oil and 3 eggs in a blender until you get a uniform texture mixture

  • In a container, sift together 2 cups of wheat flour and 1 tablespoon of baking powder.

  • Add the wheat flour and baking powder to the blender mixture. Without mixing the mixture, just press the pulse mode 2 or 3 times.

  • Reserve the dough

Filling

  • In a large pan, add olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic, add the tomato sauce, making a sauté.

  • Add the cooked and shredded chicken breast, heavy cream, 1 can of peas, 1 can of corn , cream cheese and black pepper to taste. And finally the curd. Mix well and let the flavors develop.

  • Adjust the salt, turn off the heat and reserve the filling.

Assembly

  • Pour half of the dough into a medium rectangular pan greased with butter and floured

  • Add the filling, then cover with the rest of the dough

  • Distribute the rest of the Dough and sprinkle the parmesan cheese. (Note: you can decorate with pitted green olives)

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Celsius for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden
