Tapioca

Tapioca Tortilla Style Food Perfect For Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner!

Tapioca is a flour made with cassava and is part of the history of Brazilian cuisine. Widely consumed by the native peoples of Brazil, cassava is exploited in several different ways and tapioca is probably the best known of them.

Ingredients
  • 500g Pack of Sweet Cassava Starch

  • 300mL of Water

  • Put the 500g pack of Sweet Cassava Starch in a large bowl

  • Slowly put the water in the bowl little by little and mix together, pausing for a few seconds until mixed and wet

  • After mixing for a few minutes, take a strainer and strain an amount that can fill up a pan like a pancake.

  • After heating up a pan on the stove top, you can add a little bit of butter so your tapioca will not stick as easy.

  • Add the tapioca and wait for a few minutes, enough so it sticks and then unsticks, then flip it as if it were an omelette

  • Add your desired filling, my favorite is ham and cheese! or Goava with cheese if I am having a sweet tooth.

  • Serve and enjoy!
